For over 40 years the Great Yarmouth Lions have been twinned with the Lions Club of Rambouillet, France.  From time to time exchange visits are organised.

The planned 2018 visit by our French colleagues took place over a busy weekend of activities, the first on Friday evening to the Civic Ball at the Town Hall.

Sunday morning a guided tour of the Minister by the Preservation Trust, Lunch at Quayside Plaza, Time & Tide Museum. A more relaxed social evening was hosted by Lion Malcolm Bird and Donna.

Sunday morning a full English Breakfast at the Imperial Hotel, a couple of short speeches before our guests departed home.

In April 2019 a small group of Members crossed the channel for a busy fun packed social engagements.

The return visit from our French colleagues for 2020 had to be postponed due to the Corona Pandemic.
